The New Modal Literary and Industrial Education Society was established in the year 1934 with the sole initiative by Late. K. B. Kurvey popularly known as "Bhausaheb Kurvey" . It was established in the pre-independence era with the motive of education the poor, needy, ignored & backward people of the region and most importantly the freedom fighters.

Initialy Bhausahed had started his school his schoolin drawing room of his home and that was a family mission. His betterhalf Late. Dr.Maltibai kurvey used to spare time to teach student apart from her medical practice Subsequently the school was shifted to the rental building.

Watching his dedication and hard work in the mission of imparting quality education the then C.P. & Berar. Govt , considered his request and alloted the state to the society to establish school building at Suitabuldi and Shraddhanandpeth, on which the school building are situates in Nagpur. In Sitabuldi, The Primary School and High School were started first. Then at a later date. The High school, Junior College are Public School got established at Shraddhanandpeth area.
